This is how you will reinvent food retail
As a Test Automation Engineer at AH Technology, you play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience for millions of Albert Heijn customers. By leveraging cutting-edge tools and frameworks, you turn evolving insights from online and offline shopping into automated tests that ensure code reliability. You collaborate with your team to design, develop, and execute automated tests for new features and functionalities.

The candidate joining the team is expected to specialize in automating services and should possess expertise in at least one automation tool. While the primary focus is on automation, the candidate may also need to perform an active role in quality assurance, which could include manual testing.Be working in a DevOps environment, and you are responsible for the performance and the quality of the things you own as a team.

Team Promo operates as a DevOps unit within MDM. This team supplies online and brick-and-mortar AH stores with information on Offers and Promotions through various services.
Composed of five DevOps engineers, the group handles the creation and upkeep of these services. The team is culturally diverse.

The recipe for maximum customer impact     
At AH Technology, you'll work for one of the biggest food retailers in the Netherlands. To become successful as our new Automation Tester, you bring the following:

• Has 6+ years of experience in Test Automation, mostly in backend applications
• Is passionate about end-to-end automated testing
• Experience in complex projects running with big databases and/or backend systems
• Has strong knowledge of API testing (e.g Rest Assured, Karate) and mocking tools
• Has strong knowledge of one of the test automation frameworks (e.g Cypress, Selenium)
• Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
• Is comfortable working in DevOps teams, with frequent, incremental test and release cycles
• Has ability to use a wide variety of open source and in-house technologies and tooling
• Has experience with Agile Frameworks, DevOps Automation and CI/CD tooling
• Has experience with Performance testing tools (Jmeter, Gatling etc)
• Experience with Kafka, Azure cloud and No SQL databases is a plus
• Owns the quality and timeliness of delivery
• Strong communication skills 
• Has good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Interview Procedure:
1.    Asynchronous Technical Assessment: Allocate 45-90 minutes for an exercise. 2.    Theoretical Technical Assessment: In-depth discussion focusing on technical theories and concepts.
3.    Organizational Culture Evaluation: Exploration of fit within the company's cultural landscape.
4.    Offer Stage: Successful completion of all stages will result in a formal job offer.
