As a technical writer, you are responsible for compiling manuals and reports. These manuals and reports eventually incorporate all product information, which are sent to the end users/clients.

Your range of tasks will therefore include the following:

• Collecting the right information from various departments and parties which are involved;
• Reading technical drawings and making minor adjustments;
• Drafting complete manuals and archiving them.

As a technical writer, you understand better than anyone that the compilation of manuals and reports must be done carefully so the end user can make immediate use of it.

The position of the technical writer is job for 32 or 40 hours a week in the day shift from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00.

To be considered for the position of technical writer, it is a requirement that you have a technical background, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering.
Furthermore, you will bring the following with you:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, supplemented with experience in a comparable position within the technology sector or as a draughtsman, constructor, or engineer.
• Excellent command of the English language, verbally and in writing (documents are drawn up in English).
• Good command of Word, Excel, and Autodesk Inventor (or comparable).

• A secondment contract for 1 year, with the prospect of a permanent contract!
• €3.200 to €4.200 gross per month based on 40 hours (depending on your knowledge and experience).
• 25 holidays + 3 scheduled days off, based on 40 hours.
• 8.33% holiday pay.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 net and €0.06 gross per kilometres, regardless of your place of residence (with a max. of 85 km one way).
