Functieomschrijving

• Develop heavy-duty diesel engines, focusing on fuel injection equipment (FIE) control and diagnostics.

• Define system-level requirements based on new emission and OBD standards.
• Lead FMEA and assess the impact of new content on various systems.
• Develop and track validation plans for FIE performance through testing and simulations (SIL, HIL, engine).
• Lead root cause analysis and provide improvement proposals for FIE-related issues.
• Support calibration engineers in calibrating new controller concepts.

Functie-eisen

• MSc in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in dynamics and control.
• 3+ years of experience in fuel injection controller development (EU and NA emission and OBD regulations).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DFSS, FMEA, P-diagrams, fault tree analysis).
• Strong technical problem-solving skills with experience leading technical teams.
• Competencies: initiative, collaboration, result-oriented, analytical, excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
