FunctieomschrijvingIn this role, you will be at the forefront of mechanical development for our complete systems as part of a dedicated R&D team. Your work will contribute significantly to our innovation roadmap, with responsibilities that include:
- Collaborating within a project team to implement functional improvements based on our development plans after an extensive training period.
- Analyzing requirements to achieve necessary functionalities, generating concepts and 3D designs, and coordinating with suppliers for proto part detailing and production.
- Planning, coordinating, documenting, and managing your project contributions in an organized manner.
- Facilitating internal and external communications, including documentation and progress reports.
- Maintaining an overview of processes and providing colleagues with insights.
- Contributing to organization-wide improvement initiatives.
Functie-eisen- A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A broad technical interest, with a strong emphasis on precision mechanics; knowledge of mechatronics, vacuum technology, optics, and physics is highly recommended.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including expertise in 3D CAD design.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with demonstrable skills in project-based work.
- Creative thinking and strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas.
- Strong analytical abilities, conceptual problem-solving skills, and motivation to achieve outstanding team results.
- A self-starter attitude, thriving in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
