About the vacancy:

The Solution Support Specialist (Logistics Applications) at NewCold is responsible for providing exceptional support, in collaboration with her or his team, to users and customers regarding the usage of our Logistics Software Solutions. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth daily operations and enhancing user and customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and proactive communication.

What will you do?

  • Technical Support: Serve as the secondary technical contact for our users and customers, analyzing issues and problems.
  • Coordination: Work closely with team members, users, customers, software developers, and third-party suppliers to manage, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Proactively inform stakeholders, users, and customers about current problems and their status.
  • Knowledge Management: Participate in building and continuously updating and maintaining an (Artificial Intelligence) knowledge base, including documentation, wikis, and blogs.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in agile standups with the Multi-Continental Support team to update and stay updated on ongoing projects and issues.
  • Team Training: Train the Global Customer Support team in analyzing, in both a proactive and retroactive manner, several Logistics Software Solutions such as our WMS systems, Yard & Gate management software, Customer Service Portals, Integrations, and Data Analytics.
  • Team Continuity: Be a counterpart for the Product Manager Global Customer Support in both Europe and North America, building a long-term vision for the Support team.

Who are we looking for?

You have:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • Experience: 5-8 years in a related field
  • Strong logistics knowledge, preferably in an international environment
  • Experience with WMS implementations
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English (any other European is a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain to both the Support and Development team
  • Evaluating Problems: Analyse issues comprehensively to identify root causes
  • Structuring Tasks: Organize and prioritize tasks and projects effectively
  • Showing Resilience: Demonstrate persistence and adaptability in challenging situations
  • Focusing on Users & Customers: Maintain a user- and customer-centric approach in all interactions and support activities
