Manpower is looking for several offshore service technicians in the IJmuiden area!
A day in the life of an offshore service technician involves traveling to the port of IJmuiden and performing maintenance on the wind farm. You won’t be doing this alone; you’ll work alongside a supervisor and two or three other colleagues.
In general, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine checks
- Maintaining electrical and mechanical installations
- Replacing crucial parts of the wind turbines
- Recording time and inventory of resources
What you’ll get
- Direct contract with the employer
- Gross salary from €3000 to €3700 per month (depending on your knowledge and experience)
- 7 days of work, about 10 to 11 hours per day, followed by 7 days off (ultimately, you’ll work 40 hours per week)
- Pension accrual through your new employer
- 25 vacation days plus 13 ADV days per year
Functie-eisen
- At least an mbo level 2 diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of work experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (due to the need to read training materials)
- No fear of heights and able to work at sea
