About the vacancy:

Following the growth of NewCold we are expanding the IT Department with a new Senior System Engineer responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's systems (Windows environment but also Networking infrastructure). Your expertise in Windows server technologies, Active Directory, group policies, and PowerShell scripting will be essential in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our systems as well as your expertise in networking infrastructure.

• Windows Server Administration
• Automation and Scripting
• Networking
• System Monitoring and Support
• Documentation
• You will interact internally with colleagues within the IT department and across all our sites and offices
• You will interact externally suppliers and vendors

Who are we looking for?

You have:

• A completed HBO / Bachelor Degree and applicable certifications
• Proven experience as a Senior Windows System Administrator or similar role, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing Windows-based infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory, group policies, and PowerShell scripting
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex system issues
• Strong knowledge of networking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• The ability to adopt new technologies fast
• Professional English in speaking and writing any other European language is a plus
