Vacature Senior Process Engineer in Venlo bij Research & Development

Define process requirements and optimize coatings for high-tech equipment.
Develop and deliver coating solutions tailored to customer needs.
Work with teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Lead the commissioning and acceptance of systems at client locations.
Stay involved in new technology and process development, collaborating with various project teams to ensure success.
Regular international travel to customer sites to implement and support coating systems.

Functie-eisen

A Master's (MSc) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a similar field.
3+ years of industrial experience in the development, characterization, and application of hard coatings like oxides, nitrides, or carbides.
Strong expertise in plasma physics and diagnostic techniques.
Problem-solving skills, especially in equipment troubleshooting.
Experience in working with PVD coatings, sputtering (HIPIMS/DMS), Arc technology, or coatings for tribological applications.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch, German, or Chinese is a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
