Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in multidisciplinary teams as an FPGA Firmware Designer, collaborating closely with electronics designers.
• Define, document, and implement FPGA firmware designs, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Conduct trade-off studies to select the optimal implementation scenario for new or modified functions.
• Design, implement, and test FPGA solutions for high-bandwidth streaming applications on FPGA and SoC platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IP blocks during system integration and contribute to reliability improvements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with quality norms throughout the development process.
• Report progress and manage personal schedules effectively, working within a structured and collaborative environment.

Functie-eisen

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in FPGA design, particularly with VHDL and/or Verilog coding.
• Strong technical knowledge of programmable logic, digital design, and high-speed interfaces.
• Familiarity with major FPGA vendors and their toolchains, as well as experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and regression test frameworks.
• Proven track record in cross-functional teams, including writing specifications and design documentation.
