The Albert Heijn eCommerce Backoffice cluster, led by Head of Tech Johan van Es and Stefan Tijsen, is a fast growing and hugely important part of home delivery. With nine DevOps teams we are serving business and consumers with reliable databases, services and apps for all logistics processes ranging from replenishment to order picking, forecasting, warehouse management and delivery. The team in which you will join is team Delivery. In this DevOps team you will work on the backend of the Delivery domain including route calculations, scheduling and delivery capacity. You will be responsible for multiple Kotlin microservices running in a Kubernetes cluster. You will join a talented and experienced team, consists of DevOps engineers (Outsystems, Kotlin, Tester), a Product Owner and a Scrum Master. Together with the team you will closely collaborate to deliver enormous impact every day!

At AH Technology you'll be working for one of the biggest food retailers in the Netherlands. To become successful as our new software Engineer, you bring:
• Bachelor or University degree in Computer Science, IT or a comparable subject.
• At least 5 years work experience as a Backend Developer, Java Developer, Kotlin Developer or Backend DevOps Engineer etc. • Experience with Java 11 or higher, Kotlin, Services (APIs) and CI/CD.
• Knowledge on Containerization (Kubernetes) and Cloud (Azure).
• A getting-things-done mentality.
• An insatiable appetite for new knowledge and knowledge sharing.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English or Dutch
