Job Description
At the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center, we are recruiting for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of room service attendant. We offer a 24 hour in room dining service, open all seven days of the week. Main responsibilities:
- Taking orders through telephone conversations with full knowledge of all menu items.
- Up-selling all menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue.
- Serving of exquisite food and beverages offerings to the guest rooms, in a timely and accurate manner.
- We are one big team, helping out others is a must – ‘Teamwork Makes The Dream Work'
- Set tables or trays according to type of food ordered.
- Responsible for cleaning and removing of the tables and/or trays from guest rooms and/or corridor.
- Consistent achievement of the service standards.
- You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company.
- Complete opening and/or closing duties.
Job Requirements

- You have a kind knowledge of all F&B standards, service, and products. You're able to demonstrate hygiene codes correctly and are able to show safe us of all materials/equipment.
- You have strong communication skills, you are the tie between the guest and the kitchen.
- You are courteous, professional, and are a master in efficient service.
- You are immune to stress and solution-minded.
- You're fluent in English, Dutch and/or any other language is appreciated.
- You are flexible; all days of the week and on holidays.
