Vacature Package Sorter Evening/Night PostNL Elst in Elst bij Timing

PostNL is the largest mail and parcel processing organization in the Netherlands. Timing collaborates with PostNL. For the distribution center in Elst (Gld), we are looking for enthusiastic go-getters who would prefer to work for an extended period.

For PostNL we are looking to strengthen two processes. You will be responsible for optimizing the loading and unloading processes in both departments, enabling your colleagues to ensure even faster and better service so that all customers receive their packages on time.

Evening process: Working hours are from 5:45 p.m. until around 2 a.m. In the evening process, you start as a sorter or loader, which means you either place packages on the conveyor belt (loading) or sort the packages that come down the belt into the correct cart based on postal code.

Night process: During the night, you will be engaged in loading and unloading trucks. Training for this process will take place in the evening, so initially, you’ll only be working evenings.

• You are at least 18 years old
• Knowledge of the Dutch or English language
• You are physically strong, as the work is physically demanding and repetitive
• You have your own mode of transportation
• You are able to submit a VOG (Certificate of Conduct)

• Salary of €13.68 per hour (for 21 years and older) and €11.73 per hour (ages 18 to 20), paid weekly
• Allowances apply according to the PostNL collective labor agreement (for this role, you are entitled to allowances after 10:00 p.m.)
• Travel expenses of €0.22 per kilometer if you live more than 6 km from work
