As a Senior Optical Design Engineer, your role involves spearheading the development of cutting-edge optical and laser modules and systems for diverse markets and applications. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, often under the guidance of a Project Manager, you leverage your physics expertise to translate specifications into tangible designs for subsystems and components.

Your tasks / responsibilities are:

• Responsible for the development of high-tech optical and laser modules and systems used in several markets and applications
• Working on and building the prototype
• Involvement in software tasks, particularly in image and signal processing using C++/C#
• Hands-on work, including the construction of prototypes within our Optical Labs
• Engaged in installation, commissioning, and potentially providing support when required

•  6+ years of relevant work experience in a High-tech / Machinery environment
• Master or PhD in Physics, Optical Design or similar
• Experience in Optical Design and simulations
• Zemax
• Programming experience in C++ is a nice to have
