At Dow, you’ll work in a plant equipped with production facilities that use the latest technological advancements. With a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, you’ll get to know the plant in detail, enabling you to identify connections between different systems and stay ahead of potential issues. Together with your colleagues, you’ll perform various tasks while prioritizing open communication and safety. This teamwork ensures all products maintain the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow policies to ensure the safe operation of the plant and achieve production goals within quality standards
- Operate and monitor process equipment
- Perform planned operational tasks as well as those arising from unplanned events
- Collaborate with shift team members and other shifts to share knowledge and balance workloads, ensuring smooth handovers during shifts
- Apply your process knowledge and skills to improve plant performance
- Independently perform maintenance, including minor repairs and preventive maintenance, following proper procedures

Functie-eisen
- You have completed or are expecting to complete an EQF4 qualification in Process Technology
- Alternatively, you have completed a different technical MBO Level 4 program and are willing to pursue additional training in Process Technology alongside your work
- You are a team player who can handle responsibility well and is confident in making decisions
- You hold a VAPRO-C certification, or VAPRO-B with the willingness to obtain your VAPRO-C (Possession of an AOT certificate is also sufficient)
- Availability for an average of 40 hours per week
- Strong proficiency in Dutch (C1) in both spoken and written communication, as this is required for work-related interactions
- A valid Dutch work permit with at least nine months of validity remaining or EU citizenship
- For this role, a VCA VOL certification is required. If you do not yet have this certification, it must be obtained before your start date
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is part of the onboarding process
