More information on NewCold can be found on www.newcold.com and our social media. For our new automated cold store in Dinteloord we are looking for a number of Operators. You will be trained in our facility in Kruiningen before the the facility starts up in the first quarter of 2025.
As an Operator you ensure the continued operation of NewCold's automated warehouse by monitoring computer systems and performing hands on maintenance alongside our qualified technicians.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Monitor our SCADA software
- Undertaking proactive and reactive operational tasks
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and according to NewCold standards
- Assisting with maintenance activities on site
- Proactively identifying any risks and taking corrective measures
- Complete daily checks of the plant and take the appropriate action to ensure the system operates to maximum efficiency
- Ensuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising level
Who we are looking for:
- Advanced technical education
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Experience troubleshooting in a mechanical, trades or automation environment
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively (in Dutch and/or English)
- Experience with working at heights
- Computer literacy
- Flexibility to work in a high volume, fast pace facility
- Teamwork ability
