For one of the biggest telecommunication provider in the Netherlands, We are looking for an operations Engineer to  manage, maintain and administrate the Network Security level within  the  Public key  infrastructure  environment (PKI). You will work in a team that consists of 20 engineers and as a PKI Operations  engineer you will work more towards the cloud and internet of things (IOT) and you are considered an asset to the team. You will work in the Managed & Support Operations department that is focused on delivering high-quality security services  which includes management of firewalls, email and web security and the public key infrastructures. 

Functieomschrijving

• You are responsible for the maintenance of Fortinet gateways and firewalls 
• You w ill execute  changes on performing systems 
• Reviewing the firewalls and carry out vulnerability scanning on the systems of external clients 
• You will solve incidents  and manage crisis situations 
• You are responsible for  setting up the monitoring environment
• You are responsible for the maintenance of all the Fortinet product features  (Forti-gate, Forti-switch, Forti-analyze, Forti-ADC) 
• You will evaluate the suppliers performance and make agreements on the improvements discussed 
• You will identify  product improvements for departments and implement a plan to mitigate further risks 
• You will execute analysis and prepares reports on findings to different stakeholders 

Functie-eisen

• You have hands on experience working with firewalls;
• You have  hands on experience with configuration tooling, such as Ansible;
• You have at least 3 years’ experience working as an Ops Engineer; 
• You have strong relationship management skills;
• You have a good knowledge of operating systems (Linux);
• You have the ability to oversee complex processes  and deliver result in a constantly changing environment.  
• You have a basic knowledge or willing to learn about Public key infrastructure (PKI). 

You have an affinity in IT security (nice to  have).
