- Design diagnostic calibration strategies to maintain OBD compliance.
- Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure standards are understood, implemented, and adhered to.
- Ensure development and validation of the OBD system follow established process guidelines.
- Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize processes and documentation.
- Translate OBD regulations to ensure engine development compliance with OBD regulations and product specifications.
Functie-eisen- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines is mandatory, with a preference for diesel engines.
- Basic knowledge of OBD regulation and systems is required.
- Familiarity with SAE 1939-71/73 CAN is optional.
- Ability to quickly understand complex and abstract issues.
- Structured working approach with a strong preference for teamwork.
- Enthusiasm for dealing with complex systems and solving technical problems.
- Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and organizations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Matlab is mandatory.
- Good command of the English language, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
