Dalata Hotel Group is de meest succesvolle en grootste hotel groep in Ierland, en groeiend in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en continentaal Europa. Wij exploiteren de merken Clayton Hotel & Maldron Hotel samen met een aantal partnerhotels. Onze portefeuille bestaat uit 53 hotels, voornamelijk viersterrenhotels, gelegen op locaties in het stads centrum.
We zetten onze aanhoudende groei en expansie voort in 2024, met de opening van nieuwe hotels in de volgende Britse steden: Liverpool, Shoreditch London, Brighton en Manchester Cathedral Quarter.
We zijn dan ook verheugd om die uitbreiding en groei naar Europa voort te zetten met de recente aankoop van Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American. Het unieke hotel is gelegen in de levendige hoofdstad van Nederland, is een 4-sterrenhotel met 173 kamers en een uitgebreid aanbod aan eten en drinken, waaronder het bekende Café Americain en Bar Americain.
Dit hotel biedt een geweldige kans voor iedereen die de volgende stap in zijn carrière wil zetten en deel wil uitmaken van de verdere expansie van Dalata naar continentaal Europa.

Our Front Office Squad makes sure that guest's parade through our hotel every day. Do you have the skills required to provide your guests with the ultimate experience? In other words: do you have it in you to rock in this job? If so, we're looking for you!
Set in the vibrant, capital city of the Netherlands, Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, now part of Dalata Hotel Group is a 4-star, 173-bedroom hotel with an extensive food and beverage offering including a Café and Bar. It is located on the Leidseplein, in one of the most famous art nouveau buildings in Amsterdam
Objective of the Role
You come in at 23:00 and there are guests all over the place! Great, your day starts with checking in guests who had a delayed flight. With your enthusiastic and upbeat story about the hotel you make sure that they forget all about their travel experience. The phone rings and guests want some fresh towels, no problem, you run upstairs and hand them to the guests. You also make sure that all guests and colleagues are safe throughout the night. Also, you don't mind to do some administrative tasks and financial handling which are part of the night audit.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephone according to Clayton Hotel standards
- Check in late arrivals
- Financial transactions
- Answer all possible questions guests may have
- Prepare room service menu items
- Security rounds
- Check out guests who have an early flight
- Perform Night Audit in absence of the Night Auditor
Requirements:
- You do work already in a hotel as night receptionist, preferably 2 years or more.
- You are familiar with Opera (our PMS system)
- You do not mind working on rotation schedules, weekends and holidays
- You have a high sense of responsibility
- You are fluent in English. Any other language? Fantastic! The more the merrier.
- You live in the Amsterdam area
