Manpower is looking for a maintenance technician for a company based in Amsterdam.
As a multi-skilled maintenance technician, you play a key role in keeping the production unit running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance, always aiming for high standards and minimal downtime.
Your main tasks include:
- Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on time and to spec
- Supporting planning with clear feedback and improvements
- Overhauling and troubleshooting rotating and static equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and permit systems
- Helping improve reliability through fault finding and reporting
- Assisting with project work, shutdowns, and plant modifications
- Mentoring junior technicians and sharing best practices
- Taking part in the mechanical call-in rotation
You also help maintain a library of clear work instructions and make sure all tools and lifting equipment meet legal requirements.

Functie-eisenYou are someone who works accurately, thinks in solutions, and enjoys technical challenges. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are not afraid to take responsibility. In addition, you bring the following:
- MTS degree (or equivalent) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a process plant (Manufacturing, Process, or Chemical industry)
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical insight
- Able to work independently and systematically
- Comfortable communicating in both Dutch and English
- Flexible, stress-resistant, and willing to join the on-call rotation
- A true team player with a hands-on and quality-conscious mindset
You enjoy working in an international team and can easily switch between tasks without losing sight of details. Your proactive attitude and drive for improvement make you a valuable addition to the team.
