Within this role you are one of the leaders of the team. Your key responsebilities are:
Custom Robot Design: Develop and design robotic systems, including robotic arms, tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients across various industries.
Utilize Siemens NX: Employ Siemens NX for designing, modeling, and analyzing mechanical components and systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
Collaborate with R&D Team: Work closely with the R&D team to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software systems, ensuring cohesive and efficient robotic solutions.
Prototype Development: Lead the development and testing of prototypes, making iterative improvements based on performance and client feedback.Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
Assurance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards and quality guidelines, conducting thorough reviews and validations.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure the successful implementation of customized robotic solutions.
Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our robotic products, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
Functie-eisen
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation. Experience with Siemens NX is essential.
Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a focus on Siemens NX. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems design.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical designs.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
A creative mindset with a passion for developing innovative solutions in robotics.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
