As a mechanical engineer for our client, you will be an important part of a systems design group specializing in precision mechanics. Within their engineering department, which includes systems engineering, research and development, and software engineering, you will work to maintain, industrialize, and develop their Electron Spray Lithography (EBPG) system for both current use and future development.

• Control the complete industrialization process of new or modified mechanical modules integrated in the EBPG system
• Ensure optimal manufacturability and impeccable product quality for new mechanical developments or modifications of existing models
• Create and maintain extensive mechanical technical documentation including 3D plans, 2D technical drawings, installation instructions and maintenance instructions for both products and tools
• Assess and address technical risks in the factory during the production process through the supply chain and at customer sites.
• Analyze and implement strategies to achieve required functionality, design solutions, create 3D designs and work with suppliers to customize and manufacture prototype parts
• Take ownership of assigned deliverables to project teams involved in new development and ensure structured planning, coordination. , and performance of tasks
• Manage internal and external communications, including documentation and with assigned projects related progress reports
• Participate in organization-wide initiatives to improve structure and process efficiency
• Report directly to Systems Engineering Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of work experience, including practical knowledge that ensures manufacturability
• Broad technical curiosity that goes beyond mechanical engineering; knowledge of vacuum engineering, high voltage and precision mechanics is highly preferred
• Demonstrated sense of ownership, practicality and hands-on approach and demonstrated expertise in project-based work
• Demonstrates creativity and strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills eye for conceptual problem solving and desire to achieve excellent team results with colleagues
• Independent and able to thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Salary indication between € 4.000,00 and € 6.500,00 based on experience and education
