Royal IHC  is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.As the Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for planning and monitoring national and international transport.  The Logistics Coordinator is a key part of the Shipping department which are handling all IHC units.   

Within this role as Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Organizing import and export transports for spare parts and aftermarket including  the timely provision of related documents (customs forms, invoices, packing lists and payment documents), for all transport modalities.
• In addition to the regular transports responsibilities may also include coordinating  complex transport for project cargo liaising with various internal and external parties.
• Advise on logistics aspects of  tenders, L/C’s commercial agreements or complex logistics solutions.

To be eligible for the role of Logistics Coordinator, you must have the following: 

• A secondary level of education (MBO).
• Several years of experience within logistics.
• Specialist knowledge of international transport, (complex) project shipments,  related documents, customs procedures, formalities and legal requirements.
• The ability to keep an overview when you are working on a large variety of projects and orders.
• A proactive, hands-on and flexible approach.
• The ability to take the initiative and come up with ideas to improve our processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbal and written.
• An EU work visa
