Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Lab Technician for Syngenta Seeds in Enkhuizen.

As part of the Purity & Analytical team within Quality Control Operations, you will help ensure seed quality before sale. Your tasks include:
  • Supporting daily lab and greenhouse operations
  • Collecting, registering, and preparing samples for testing
  • Preparing materials, chemicals, and equipment for tests
  • Preparing reagents and maintaining stock levels
  • Keeping the lab and materials clean and organized
  • Learning and performing various tests using techniques such as flow cytometry, UPLC, freeze drying, and molecular markers
  • Reporting malfunctions and deviations from protocols
  • Participating in team and other necessary meetings

Your work will help ensure growers receive high-quality seeds, preventing unexpected surprises in the field.

Functie-eisen
  • At least an MBO (vocational) work and thinking level, obtained through education or experience
  • Some experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Affinity for working with vegetable seeds and plants
  • Accurate, quality-oriented, and detail-focused work approach
  • Ability to follow detailed protocols
  • Patience, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following safety procedures
  • Proactive team player with a sense of responsibility for test results
  • Proficiency in Excel at a user level
  • Strong communication skills in various situations
  • Independent user level of English in speaking and writing

Dutch language skills and SAP experience are a plus.
