As an Import Forwarder in Air Freight, you will be the go-to person for managing general cargo transport to the Netherlands via air and road freight. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure a seamless process for your customers. Your tasks include:

  • Processing incoming orders in the system (Cargowise).
  • Monitoring shipments and providing updates to customers.
  • Preparing necessary customs documentation and coordinating with warehouse colleagues.
  • Planning deliveries for customers in line with agreed terms.
  • Handling invoicing, processing claims, and providing exceptional customer support.

You will take ownership of the entire import process, collaborating with your team to maintain a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Whether it's providing quotes or resolving challenges, you’ll be at the heart of the operation.

Functie-eisen

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • At least 1 year of experience in organizing import transport via air freight.
  • A good command of Dutch (B1 level or higher) and strong English communication skills.
  • A motivated attitude, a passion for logistics, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Your proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will make you an excellent fit for this role.
