Doubletree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre is een internationaal 4 sterren belevingshotel in het bruisende centrum van Rotterdam, aan het water èn aan de voet van de Erasmusbrug.Water speelt in het hotel een belangrijke rol, de ene keer prominent, de andere keer subtiel. Nagenoeg elke plek in het hotel biedt uitzicht over de Maas en de skyline van Rotterdam.Het hotel biedt 265 luxe gastenkamers en suites, 9 multifunctionele zalen tot 300 personen, restaurant, Bar/Brasserie “Water”, Life Fitness Gym en Wellness Club H2O.
Naast een inspirerende omgeving waar je enerzijds je vakkennis kwijt kunt en waar je anderzijds nog veel kunt leren, is er ook de mogelijkheid om naast werken een sociaal leven op te bouwen. Zaken zijn goed georganiseerd en extreme werktijden komen niet voor.
Je werkt in een jong team waarbij enthousiasme vaak belangrijker is dan vakkennis.
Job Description
The 5-star DoubleTree by Hilton in Rotterdam and one of the largest hotels in the BeNeLux region with 480 rooms and 26,000m2 to host meetings and events. The hotel also features a restaurant, bar and brasserie, where our guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or a nice drink at the bar with a nice view on the Leuvenhaven.
The hotel is located in the center of Rotterdam, on the banks of the river Maas and the famous Erasmus Bridge. Because of this location, the hotel also offers great views of the skyline and the center of Rotterdam.
Both hotels are currently being transformed, but will continue their operations. In fact, in 2025 they will be rebranded as Double Tree by Hilton and Curio Collection by Hilton.
As a result of this rebranding, you can enjoy the best of both worlds once you join us! You'll be part of the Hilton family and because this property is managed by Cycas Hospitality, you'll also be a true Cycadette. This means you have all the benefits of the Hilton Family and all the perks of being a Cycadette!
What we ask of you!
- Relevant work experience in a similar position;
- Completed a hospitality education (MHS / HHS) or have several years of experience at the Front Office of a hotel;
- Knowledge of a PMS system (OnQ PMS is bonus);
- Have excellent communication skills in Englisch; Dutch is not mandatory;
- Passionate about helping guests and coaching employees;
- A real teamplayer;
- Willing to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays;
- In possession of a valid working permit for the Netherlands ( if you are not from EU/EER or when you are from Switzerland).
