ROYAL98 is our restaurant. ROYAL98 is a food concept in the center of Amsterdam where thin crust wood oven pizza and Italian authentic dishes play a central role
Main duties:
The Front Office Agent combines the tasks of Receptionist/Duty manager, Concierge and Night Auditor
Carries out Front Office procedures to provide highest standards of service;
Checking in and out of guests and follow the GDPR while registering guests and or visitors;
Giving excellent and personalized service to guests according to hotel's standards;
Functions as Front Office Clerk incl. Concierge and Receptionist tasks during days and night;
Aligns tasks, questions and complaints with other departments;
Sells available rooms to walk-ins;
Promotes up-selling;
Makes and confirms reservations;
Provides guest with tourist information about Amsterdam, sights etc.;
Conducts payments via cashier system;
Is responsible for telephone service;
Responding to emails from reservations + hotel
Assists in training new team members;
Works together with other departments;
Completes the daily checklists.
Job Requirements
Profile:
Working experience in 4*/5* hotels;
Familiar with fire procedures, preferably BHV certificate;
Familiar with maintenance of hotel facilities;
Knowledge of Opera Cloud;
Fluent in English and/or Dutch;
Excellent communication skills;
Service and guest oriented;
People oriented;
Hands on mentality;
Able to work well in a team and alone;
Flexible and Enthusiastic.
Ready to work on nights, weekends and holidays
Being able to multitask
Keeps workspace clean and organized
Ability to remember names and faces in order to make guests feel particularly welcome.
