What's the Role?As our Front Desk Extraordinaire, you're the frontline hero of our hotel, delivering unparalleled service with a touch of warmth and professionalism. Collaborating closely with the Operations Supervisor and other team members, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that every guest experience is nothing short of exceptional. Your mission? To be the welcoming face, the helpful hand, and the ultimate ambassador of hospitality.
Your diverse responsibilities include:
- Guest Reception: Providing a warm welcome to our guests and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Guest Services: Assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, and recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Administrative Support: Handling reservations, managing guest accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communication Hub: Serving as the central point of contact for guests and internal departments, facilitating seamless communication.
- Quality Assurance: Upholding our standards of excellence through attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Job Requirements
Are you our next candidate, equipped with the following?
- Experience in a guest/customer-oriented role;
- Degree from MHS/HHS or a vocational tourism education, or currently pursuing a similar program;
- Available for 32 to 38 hours per week;
- Customer-focused, flexible, and enthusiastic;
- Familiar with Amsterdam to provide recommendations to our guests;
- Proficiency in the necessary languages (Dutch, English, and a second foreign language is a plus) both spoken and written;
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
