FunctieomschrijvingTheFinancial Controller oversees the financial statements, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including BG account managers, financial control teams, Financial Shared Services, auditors, and business partners.
Finance Actuals and Closing:
- Ensure accurate delivery and execution of finance actuals, closing, and reporting.
- Perform P&L sanity checks and variance analysis.
- Maintain integrity of financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheets.
- Oversee the financial closing process and lead pre-close meetings.
Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting:
- Assist in setting up budget and forecast cycles.
- Upload and lock budget and RAF data.
Finance Reporting:
- Provide reports for provisions and accruals.
- Support management reporting and ensure data integrity.
Internal Control and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls.
- Monitor and follow up on internal control frameworks and audit findings.
- Act as the main contact for internal and external audits.
Functie-eisen
- A (post) Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or licensed certified public accountant;
- More than 4 years of experience in Accounting/Controlling;
- Knowledge and experience in a Shared Service environment;
- In-depth understanding of Finance and Accounting processes;
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (SAP R/3);
- Fluency in English and French.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Salary of €4,000 to €4,500 gross per month;
- 25 vacation days;
- 8% vacation pay;
- An assignment for six months, with the possibility of extension;
