Financial Manager in the transportation sector

Your responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Preparing financial statements and reports, guaranteeing adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Preparing month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconciling bank statements and various financial accounts.
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes on a quarterly basis.
- Managing audits, tax filings, and VAT returns.
- Maintaining compliance with internal controls and procedures to safeguard financial data integrity.
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.

What you bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy o
- Minimum of ten years' experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills, MS Dynamics 360 preferred.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Willingness to travel regularly to production locations in another country in Europe one or twice a month for few days
