Job Description

Take control of our financial processes and make an immediate impact in this international environment.

A boring accounting job? Absolutely not. Welcome to the dynamic world of Bausch + Lomb — a company where numbers are constantly in motion. A business that evolves every day, where both internal and external factors make your work genuinely interesting. You'll work in an environment where your insights truly make a difference, and where international challenges – such as currency fluctuations and macroeconomic influences – bring your profession to life. With hybrid working options and flexible hours, this is the ideal balance between responsibility and freedom.

You are the Dutch financial conscience within our international structure. You'll take an active role in monthly closings, perform revaluations, support audits, and deliver clear, insightful cash flow reports. The wide range of tasks and challenges makes the work intellectually engaging. Your contributions support international Treasury processes and require both keen attention to detail and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate cash flow reports, managing the process around subsidiaries (revaluations, dividends, coordination with legal counsel), and analyzing and reporting on currency differences.
  • Executing monthly and quarterly closings, including variance analysis.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the Global Treasury department.
  • Preparing for and participating in internal and external audits.

Job Requirements

You enjoy solving financial puzzles and possess strong analytical skills. You thrive in an international environment, take initiative, and know how to engage with legal and ethical stakeholders. Thanks to your professional and open communication style, you're able to inform key stakeholders effectively and build support for your recommendations.

You bring:

  • A completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or AFAS).
  • Excellent command of English (Dutch is not required).

Salary and Benefits

With flexible hours, hybrid working opportunities, and a structured team full of knowledge, this role offers the ideal balance between professional development and personal well-being.

You can also count on:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications.
  • A one-year full-time contract (37.5 hours per week), with the possibility of a permanent position.
  • Flexible working hours & a 50/50 hybrid work model.
  • Free contact lenses and tax benefits for fitness or dietary advice.
  • A 13th-month salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (up to 70 km) or full reimbursement for public transport.
  • 25 vacation days based on a full-time contract.
