FunctieomschrijvingIn this role, you will manage and report on assigned customer cases, including executing periodic maintenance, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs. You will also be responsible for the installation of new systems and customer training, with duties including:
- Executing support activities when not traveling.
- Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams.
- Preparing for upcoming tasks and projects.
- Traveling regionally and internationally as required.
Functie-eisen- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, with solid knowledge of electronics (both analog and digital) and fine mechanics.
- At least 5 years of experience as a service engineer in complex instrumentation within a semiconductor environment.
- Proficiency in PC and software (Linux); familiarity with electron optics, high voltage, and vacuum technology is a plus.
- A passion for problem-solving, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently after an initial training period of around six months.
- A proactive attitude, the ability to meet deadlines under pressure, and strong communication skills in English.
- Diplomatic skills and a willingness to share knowledge with the team.
