Vacature FIE Diagnostic Calibration Engineer in Eindhoven

Functieomschrijving

• Develop calibrations for diagnosing FIE-related issues in heavy-duty diesel engines.
• Design diagnostic calibration strategies to maintain OBD compliance.
• Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure standards are understood, implemented, and followed.
• Ensure the development and validation of the OBD system follow established process guidelines.
• Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize processes and documentation.
• Translate OBD regulations to ensure compliance with OBD regulations and product specifications.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering.
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines is mandatory, with a preference for diesel engines.
• At least basic knowledge of OBD regulation and systems.
• Detailed knowledge of FIE systems and their interaction with engine behavior is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAE 1939-71/73 CAN is optional.
• Ability to quickly understand complex and abstract issues.
• Structured working approach with a strong preference for teamwork.
• Enthusiasm for dealing with complex systems and solving technical problems.
• Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and organizations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Matlab is mandatory.
• Good command of the English language, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
