• Serve as a Performance Engineer for Exhaust Aftertreatment within Concept Development

• Develop aftertreatment systems for future projects in collaboration with system suppliers to meet performance and emission targets
• Calibrate and develop control strategies for aftertreatment systems
• Coordinate aftertreatment-related testing activities within concept development
• Document and analyze test results, using and improving tools
• Develop test procedures and supervise aftertreatment tests on engine dynos and vehicles
• Develop and implement problem solutions in close cooperation with internal and external partners
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams
• Continuously improve tools and processes

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive, Controls, or Mechanical Engineering

• Knowledge in aftertreatment systems (DOC, DPF, SCR), thermodynamics, combustion, control engineering, and/or chemistry
• Experience in engine testing, preferably with heavy-duty truck aftertreatment systems
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written), with a willingness to learn Dutch
