Odyssey is looking for electronic technicians to support the expansion of our European repair facility in Nijmegen. Are you ready for a nice adventure?

Replacing that equipment is costly and not sustainable. That's why we focus on repairing it. Odyssey is a global expert in this field. We work with a very loyal group of people, and our employment relationships often span many years. The atmosphere is informal; we all enjoy a good joke and share a passion for the work.

You are a real troubleshooter! Actually, nothing in electronics is unfamiliar to you, but if it is, you will investigate! You do this together with 5 to 10 colleagues in the workshop. You have your own well-equipped workstation. Here, you can work with your headphones on, completely focused, or you can listen to the radio and chat with your colleagues. Both are perfectly fine.

You will be performing the following tasks:

• Interpreting and comprehending electronic schematics of advanced complexity;
• Setting up and understanding all aspects of test equipment use, such as a Power Supply, DVM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
• Troubleshooting failures using your knowledge, specialized equipment, and experience;
• Soldering and de-soldering of sensitive electronic components in highly difficult installations, including most SMT components;
• Repairing, calibrating, and testing customer equipment while emphasizing overall quality and customer satisfaction.
• Completing on-the-job training in Europe and America.

As a Technician, it's crucial that you're a determined individual who enjoys finding new solutions. So, curiosity is a must!

• You have an electrical engineering foundation, preferably through a HBO education;
• or you have extensive experience tinkering with electronics;
• You are loyal and willing to take courses;
• You work with great precision and accuracy;
• You have a valid workpermit for The Netherlands.
