Vacature Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy (Specialized in Switch Gears)

Functieomschrijving

Design, install, and commission electrical systems, focusing on switch gears for renewable energy projects
Develop and implement plans for the operation and maintenance of switch gears in wind farms, solar plants, and energy storage systems
Ensure the reliability and safety of switch gears by conducting testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineers to ensure the successful deployment of renewable energy solutions
Perform electrical load calculations and risk assessments related to switch gear systems
Oversee compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for medium and low voltage equipment
Travel to project sites to supervise the installation and commissioning of switch gears and associated electrical systems

Functie-eisen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with switch gears in the renewable energy sector
Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage switch gears, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution systems
Experience with the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for solar, wind, or other renewable energy projects
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize switch gear performance, ensuring safety and reliability
Proficient in electrical design software and CAD tools
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Willingness to travel to project sites for installation, testing, and commissioning phases

Competitive salary ranging from €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month, depending on experience
