About the vacancy
NewCold welcomes candidates of diverse backgrounds and experiences. As an Electrical Engineer at NewCold, you will work in a dynamic team with the objective of advancing our global energy initiatives. Your responsibilities will center around three main areas: energy modelling, technical concept designs and verification for renewable energy generation, and integration of new technological advancements.
Utilizing data and software tools, you will conduct energy modelling analyses to optimize energy usage and identify efficiency improvements, guiding decision-making processes across various projects. Additionally, you will provide inputs on the electric design of renewable energy systems, such as solar arrays and wind turbines, while ensuring the stability of our internal grid.
In addition, as NewCold aims to remain at the forefront of market trends and innovation, you will play a key role in this endeavor by staying abreast of technological advancements in the market and contributing insights to our strategies.
What will you do?
- Contribute to the implementation of sustainable goals and ideals within energy management projects.
- Provide inputs to electrical design of renewable energy integration and the stability of our internal grid, offering critical feedback and inputs in the tender, and execution stages of eneryg management projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, bringing innovative and sustainable solutions to the forefront.
- Utilize comprehensive energy modeling activities and apply strong analytical skills to review and interpret energy data, providing valuable insights for enhanced efficiency and sustainability and analyze and interpret data to optimize energy generation and utilization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to integrate sustainable technologies or processes into project development and existing operations.
- Play a key role in preparing detailed technical specifications for RFQ documents. Collaborate closely with procurement teams to ensure clear communication of technical requirements.
- Develop robust business cases for renewable energy projects, considering financial viability.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate is having:
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Studies or relevant experience in Renewable Energy
- 3-7 years experience in the integration of energy generation technologies at industrial sites
- Familiarity with regional electrical standards
- Experience in managing internal grid stability, harmonics, voltage levels, etc.
- Familiarity with microgrid concepts
- Familiarity with thermodynamics and/or cooling system principles
- Deep knowledge of principles, practices and theories within the field of electrical engineering
- Ability to prioritize and high level of organizational skills
- Strong intercultural communication skills
- Passion for sustainable goals and ideals
