Functieomschrijving

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth transition of critical systems during complex carve-out and migration processes. You’ll work within a dynamic environment, ensuring that essential tools and configurations are optimized and that systems run seamlessly through every phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support carve-out preparations and ensure successful migrations to new operational environments.
• Update and configure tools affected by incremental migrations to test and operational environments.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and assist end-users with any issues resulting from migration actions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (preferably in Python) and validate systems.
• Work with Jenkins and Groovy for CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and ensure system reliability.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Significant experience in (embedded) software development and/or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket) and their REST APIs.
• Advanced scripting skills, particularly in Python, and experience with REST API integration.
• Expertise in Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in tool installation, configuration, and validation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Duration: January 2025 - June 2025
• 40 hours per week
• Hourly rate: Up to 55 euros per hour
