Weekend Job Opportunity: Customer Relations Specialist – Control Tower

Are you looking for a rewarding weekend job? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Customer Relations Specialists in the Control Tower, working on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You’ll be part of a dynamic and driven team based in Eindhoven.

About the Role:The Control Tower is a specialized department within DHL Global Forwarding Netherlands, managing all our large accounts. As a Customer Relations Specialist, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from DHL Global Forwarding Netherlands, international branches, and other DHL business units, such as DHL Freight and DHL Express. Your role involves handling incoming emails, administrative tasks, and phone calls, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring their shipments are handled with care and efficiency.
  • Manage incoming emails and phone calls, performing related administrative tasks.
  • Maintain close daily contact with customers, ensuring their needs are met with the highest quality service.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A customer-focused individual who excels at problem-solving and relieving customers’ concerns.
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and maintains a hands-on approach to their work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep an overview and set priorities.
  • Ideally residing in Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Tilburg, or Veghel, and seeking a challenging role where you can excel.

  • Maintain and update daily tracking report.
  • You must be able to work very independently.
  • You must be able to stand your ground.
  • HBO Learning and thinking level
  • Track urgent and critical shipments from start to finish.
  • Update shipment information with real-time milestones.
  • Daily exception checking.
  • Daily proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor delays/risks and investigate root cause.
  • Full data available for performance reporting.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • A good salary between €14,06 and €20,87, depending on education and experience.
  • On saturday you get 150% and on Sunday 200% allowance.
  • Parttime position for a longer period of time - Saturday and/or Sunday from 9:00 to 1pm.
  • Weekly or 4-weekly remuneration via Olympia.
  • A varied position in a growing, healthy company with many opportunities for growth.
  • Internal training at DHL.
  • Pension scheme of which Olympia pays the basic premium.
  • Travel allowance from 5km and higher.
  • Stipp pension.
  • 8,33% vacation allowance.
