Functieomschrijving
As Category GTM Manager (also known as Product Marketing Manager/Category Manager), you will be responsible for the successful launch and product lifecycle management of a product category within the European market. To excel in this role, strong commercial, analytical, and communication skills are essential. You will work closely with the headquarters and regional teams to plan, execute, and manage the product assortment and sales strategies for the assigned category. You will monitor market trends, analyze data, and drive strategies to ensure the product’s success from launch to end-of-life in the market. Your key responsibilities will be: Product Management: - Plan and manage the product lineup and lifecycle for the European region in collaboration with HQ and the business group/product category teams. - Conduct market analysis (e.g., GFK data, Vehicle Registration data) and identify emerging market trends. - Oversee the product lifecycle and coordinate promotional planning with internal stakeholders. - Maintain accurate sales forecasting and inventory planning by country, key account, and SKU in collaboration with local sales branches and distributors. - Communicate the “voice of the customer” to the organization, including consumers, channel partners, and internal teams. - Develop and maintain competitor overviews for the European market, utilizing automated tools where necessary. Pricing Strategy: - Responsible for achieving business group/product category revenue and gross profit targets. - Participate in the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the finance department and China HQ. - Set and implement pricing strategies and net price policies across the European region. Place (Distribution Strategy): - Regularly interface with sales teams and visit key markets, branches, and distributor partners. - Monitor and influence the distribution strategy in collaboration with local sales branches and distributors. - Provide insights on key accounts and top-selling markets to the management team in close cooperation with the sales teams. Promotion: - Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to ensure that category objectives drive ATL/BTL communication and trade marketing activities. - Align promotional plans with sales and communications teams to ensure effective execution. - Plan and execute model launches in Europe, maximizing coverage with PR and influencer partnerships.

Functie-eisen
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong product marketing experience and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: - A minimum B.S. / B.A. degree from an accredited college/university in Business or a related field. - 3+ years of product marketing experience, ideally within the consumer electronics or mobility industry. - Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external customers across different cultures. - Attention to detail with a strong aptitude for problem-solving. - Independent work ethic, able to exercise good judgment and make decisions autonomously. - Full English proficiency is required; additional languages are a plus. - Willingness to travel internationally within the European region, potentially up to 10%-15% of the time. - Key personal traits: Team player, hands-on mentality, positive energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit combined with corporate discipline. - Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure effective execution.
