- Perform engine calibration to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate engine performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to integrate engine systems into vehicle platforms.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate engine designs and calibrations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including emissions and safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to engine performance and calibration.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports to support design and calibration activities.
Functie-eisen- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in engine design and calibration, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in engine simulation and analysis tools (e.g., GT-Power, AVL Cruise).
- Strong knowledge of engine control systems and calibration tools (e.g., INCA, ATI Vision).
- Experience with engine testing and diagnostics, including dynamometer testing.
- Familiarity with emissions regulations and testing procedures (e.g., EPA, CARB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
