Radisson Hotel Group becomes Cycas's sixth global hospitality partner in a deal marking Cycas's fifth Benelux property, and its third in AmsterdamCycas Hospitality has signed a lease agreement with ECHO Partners to operate its first Radisson-branded property; the Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South.When it opens in early 2021, the 227-suite Amsterdam aparthotel – which was recently acquired for the ECHO Fund – will become the first all-suite property to operate under the upscale Radisson brand in Western Europe.
To appeal to both transient and longer-staying travellers visiting the Dutch capital, each of the studio, one-bed and two-bed apartments has its own fully-equipped kitchen. Other facilities at the canal-front hotel include a gym, on-site bar and restaurant with outdoor terrace seating, plus underground parking for 70 cars.Located in Amstelveen to the south of the city, the 10-storey hotel is within walking distance of the international companies who have their headquarters in Amsterdam's booming district, such as KPMG, KLM and Canon.
With great transport links to the Zuidas central business district (3km), city centre (6km) and Schiphol Airport (8km), the property is well placed to cater for the growing demand for extended-stay accommodation options in this part of the city amongst project workers and relocating employees.

Job Description
Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South has 227 suites and rooms and opened in April 2021. We want to appeal to both transient and longer-staying travellers visiting the Dutch capital. Each of the studio's, one-bed and two-bed apartments has its own fully equipped kitchen. It is up to us to make them feel at home with our family of associates! All rooms are suites with more living and working space than you would find in an any other hotel room. Our guests are looking for a home away from home and you know better than anyone else how to make them experience exactly that!  For this great property we need to have an Assistant Front Office Manager with the real YES, I CAN! - attitude. We are too ‘CYCAS' to be grumpy. .... our job isn't over until we get a smile!   For this function we would like you to:
  • EU- National
  • A valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands is required
  • Have excellent communication skills in English. A low level of Dutch is required as well.
  • Have previous experience working with Opera.
  • Not afraid to make decisions independently and in cooperation with the Front Office Manager.
  • Customer focused “Yes I Can''-mentality.

  RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ASSISTENT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER: 
  • Assist our Front Office manager by being the best welcome host you can be. It's vital that our guests are warmly welcomed, as you read and respond appropriately to what they want and need.
  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of the front office operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest services. Understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
  • Support the Front Office Manager in training, mentoring, and supervising front desk staff to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, always striving for guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services.
  • Ensure all complaints are dealt with appropriately taking on the authority to resolve any concerns and requests raised and discuss accordingly with the Front Office manager if needed.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to front office operations and financial transactions.
  • Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
  • Functions in place of the Front Office Manager in his/her absence.
  • Participates in department meetings.
