This international organization is a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of professional AV equipment. In order to control the hardware, they develop in-house applications using Python. The European headquarters is located in the Leusden region and the support for the products is delivered from this office. For this purpose, they work in language-based teams. Because of their growth ambition they are currently seeking reinforcement for their German-speaking team.

As an Applications Engineer you're responsible for providing remote support to customers. After a call has been received by the service desk, this can be forwarded to you, after which you will immediately look for a solution to help the customer. These are usually issues that need to be resolved in a very short period of time. These are mainly German customers so you will often be required to handle these calls in German.

In order to help customers in terms of content it is important that you have a broad interest in (AV) technology. As an Applications Engineer you will be faced with system- and network related issues, and in addition, it is your task to look for any bugs when recurring incidents arise. Therefore, some experience with application support, Windows, routers, firewalls, and affinity with scripts and / or programming is required.

Functieomschrijving

• Providing Technical AV Support to German customers;
• In-house product testing for technical issues experienced on site;
• Adequate and timely resolution of a variety of issues;
• Registering issues and reporting these to Developers;
• Helping customers in a patient and understandable manner;
• Continue to work on your own development.

Functie-eisen

• In possession of a Bachelor's degree or a comparable level of knowledge gained trough work experience;
• Fluent in German (both verbally and in writing);
• Allround experience as an Application Engineer;
• You are a solution oriented professional;
• Knowledge of Windows, TCP / IP, Routers and Firewalls;
• Affinity with software development (eg Python or C).

• Up to €3.500 based on a 40-hour work week;
• 13th month salary;
